Proud to be an INDIAN..! Really..?

Hello everyone..

It has been around a week since we celebrated our independence day... feeling all patriotic and we celebrated it with complete enthusiasm... But the question i need to ask you today is... 'Are you Proud to be an Indian? Really?'

Everyday i switch on my television and switch to news while having dinner.. (Me not a news person :P)  and all i see is: a women being raped, people being killed, corruptions, economy crises and what not... not a single positive news.... With India's increasing crime rate, corruption and degrading economy... India's current reputation is nothing to be proud off.

As it a sensitive issue i will restrain myself to just listing the headlines from leading news portals and leave the rest to your sense of understanding...

News Headlines from Past One Week:

• The gang-rape of a young photojournalist in Mumbai 
• Minor accuses Asaram Bapu of sexual assault.
• Man rapes, kills 8-year-old girl in a slum
• Man arrested for raping teenaged daughter. 
• Man arrested for killing 18-year-old daughter. 
• Rupee slumped to a record low to 65.56 against the US dollar.
• Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) are now pulling out of India equity market
• India’s foreign exchange reserves, have fallen to $279 billion, which only provide around 5.5 months of import cover. 

The headlines I provided above are just a fraction of what all is happening around.

Now people reading this blog will think I'm against India and completely ignoring the positive side and highlighting only the negative elements... for them i must say this blog is a wake up call... Preaching about the good deeds we have done in the past won't gain us anything but  mending our ways to deal and correct the negative side will definitely bring a change which is very much required by our nation at this moment. 

With this blog neither i post my own opinion nor I will encourage you to revolt. All i want you is to ask yourself... Is this the India you wanted? Are your children and women safe? Where we went wrong? and what should we do to mend this? I know all of you have answers to these... Be honest with yourself and do what you thought could mend this... India will Shine for sure..!

What Next..??

"What Next..? "

Well.... This question have been haunting most of us... It has been the reason to many of our sleepless nights and aphotic dark circles. Each of us have been worried about our cloudy future and is tired of competing in this goal oriented, work-centric world.

All our life we have been running behind 'Targets'....!

This race with ourselves begins the day one is born. What school to go... What sports to play... What friends to have.... Hobbies... EVERYTHING...! Although we don't have to worry about it as most of the things are to be decided by our parents. BUT... things can't go this way throughout one eventually grows up and have to take his/her own decisions... That is the time when we come across this mammoth problem.

The very first decision of a student is "What does he/she wanna be..? "
A budding child who is totally unaware of the world around him, even his/her own interests is asked to take decisions that might affect his lifetime. A Student passing 10th standard is supposed to opt for his stream of interest but the decision is mostly based on fellow mates and peer pressure. Most of us are allured into the trap of a promising future and give up our own point of interest.   





He/She somehow manages to pass school and then again stuck with the same question "What Next..? "... he has to decide what college to join... obviously everyone of us wanna be in the best college of our stream... want a great college life... big car... gorgeous girlfriend... & at the end... a big bucks job after we pass out. BUT before any of it could happen we have to compete with a complete race of students similar to us... having the same dreams... all fighting for the same college seat... The fact is not everyone could get one.... so here come the first harsh truth of life... "COMPROMISE"...! One narrow down 'his dream' according to his merit and is finally into a college.



Finally.... He/She passes out... Out to the REAL world... again facing the same question... "What Next..??"... JOB... BUSINESS... COMPANY... ENTREPRENEUR... SALARY... APPOINTMENT LETTER.... PACKAGE... CAREER... JOB SECURITY... VACANCY... all the few things going into anyone mind... After all everything narrows down to this... Money...! Life Style..! Success...!
TARGET... GOALS... TURNOVERS... are the only few things to worry about in once life..!



I have to sum this up now... although i have left out many phases of life but still given you a prominent idea about this nerve cracking...hunted question of out life time...
